Shower Program

We believe that there is power in the ability to get and feel clean throughout each day. Unfortunately, warm, running water and indoor facilities have become a luxury that many of us take for granted. That's why Pretty Heart Inc is dedicated to providing equal opportunity for everyone to look and feel their very best.

As a community member in Oakland, you are welcome to use our facilities during the program's operation. We offer a warm shower, clean towels, soap, and one-hour free access to our indoor showers, restrooms, and locker room. And to ensure that anyone gets a chance to experience this, we provide thirty fresh towels at each Shower Program on a first-come, first-served basis.

PROGRAM RULES:
1. Patrons are offered 1-2 hours to use shower facilities, on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited towels and soap are provided for use. Personal towels and shower items are welcome.
2. Towels are loaners and belong to Shower Program. Towels shall be tossed into the hamper provided on your way out of the facility.
3. Theft, vandalism and/or fighting (of any kind) will forfeit your Shower Program privilege.
4. Possession of weapons and/or drugs will forfeit your Shower Program privilege.
5. No transportation equipment is allowed in the facility (Examples: bikes, carts, scooters, etc. are not allowed.) Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of Shower Program privilege.
